Facsimiles
Current projects using exclusively Alter Littera's fonts include full digital reproductions of the 42-line Bible (Johann Gutenberg, Mainz, ca. 1455), the Mainz Psalter (Johann Fust and Peter Schöffer, Mainz, 1457), and Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra - Homenaje al Príncipe de los Ingenios españoles (Fundición Tipográfica Richard Gans, Madrid, 1928). Samples from the first two projects are available in the Font Sheets collection above. Samples from the latter project (a very special one for personal reasons) using a test version of the Oldtype "Gótico Cervantes" Font are given below. [Actual page size: 155 x 234 mm.]
